Hello Bragii Friend,
I seem to be stuck on the subject of change, perhaps because there are big changes looming in my life. Change, as I said before, can be hard, but not always unwelcome; and sometimes change ushers in something much better! One door closes, another opens kinda deal.
So, I it is with a bittersweet sentiment I tell you that Bragii will be closing at the end of August. Between the rainy early summer keeping summer folks at home, the fact that we now have three coffee shops in two-square miles sharing an already small piece of the coffee sales pie, and the fact that I am a solo business owner – Butcher, Baker and Candlestick maker – I am just plum worn out!.
I am looking forward to spending time writing – I have two novels, a couple of musical compositions and a musical recording I’ve been putting off. And I have a non-profit, the Williams Bay Cultural Alliance, the needs tending too, plus my teaching studio and my work for the Walworth County Arts Foundation. And most of all, I have family – including two adorable grandchildren that I am really missing! So life is good, full and blessed!
Too my many faithful customers; I appreciate you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart! I feel like we are a family – one that appreciates good food, good conversation, art and music. And please stay tuned, because you never know when another “Bragii” may pop up in the future!
